We found a tidy apartment that had all the kitchen gear. There was plenty of space to move around and two bathrooms, which was great for the five of us. A washing machine downstairs let us wash our clothes, and as a mum of three that was a big help. The kids had a blast playing in the garden’s snow. The shuttle bus is just a 2‑minute walk and takes you straight to the sky slope, so it’s easy and free. The shower isn’t great – the water is hard to control and can get very hot. There’s condensation in the bathroom, but I guess that’s normal with such a cold place outside.
