“Excellent!”
The atmosphere was relaxing, and there was nothing I didn’t like.
A cozy little hotel on the road from Pensacola to St. Ives, clean and quiet, made up of three houses with a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner in sets; breakfast usually includes English or salmon eggs, unlimited coffee and tea, bread and jam, and if you eat more than one egg you probably won’t like the format. The rooms are medium-sized with a small separate room that has a sofa and a niche for a wardrobe, a large bathroom with a shower cabin and expensive plumbing, a table with tea, coffee, cookies and water in a glass, soft mattresses and pillows—quite cozy. The building also has a spa and a sports bar where locals gather; no inconveniences were experienced, the beer was fresh and the best price in England, and the staff were friendly and very polite—this hotel is the town’s attraction. If you plan to go to the beach, you’ll have to descend a steep road down and then climb back up; it’s better to take a bus that goes directly from the hotel to St. Ives. The staff were too proper and didn’t comment on a couple with a small child when the child scattered food all over the floor, which was outrageous; they just stood up and left, while the waiter in a crouch gathered everything. Add this family to the blacklist; it was unpleasant and embarrassing.
“had a nivce time”
Car park was across a busy road. No lift. We are an elderly couple who found it hard to get to our room up stairs
The breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were even better, though it felt a bit pricey but still worth the money. The room itself was small and occasionally noisy because of the bar below.
“Everyone at the Gannet worked to made it a very enjoyable holiday”
Every staff member was amazing and made the holiday truly enjoyable.
