Everything felt very old‑fashioned and outdated, and it needed an overhaul. The AC didn’t work, the shower was nasty, and there was no in‑person contact until breakfast the next day, which wasn’t very friendly.

The rooms were clean and reasonably priced. Breakfast food was good quality and served by a very friendly part‑time staff member. However, there was no smoke detector in the room, access was through the courtyard with uneven paving that posed a danger, the TV wouldn’t turn on, and the host said he had no time to fix it and suggested looking in the empty neighboring room. There was no remote for the AC (the host claimed guests were playing with it), so you had to either climb onto the bed or use a hanger to adjust it; the temperature could only be set to 22 °C or turned off, which felt unprofessional. Breakfast had to be pre‑selected, yet you still received different items. The honey was completely dried out. Finally, nobody was available to check out, a credit‑card charge was applied, but no proper invoice was provided.

The host was very attentive, friendly and helpful. The optional breakfast, chosen the night before, was excellent and plentiful. The room’s air‑conditioner could be set individually and worked perfectly even on the hottest days at +40 °C. Even though the hotel is in the town centre, the room was very quiet. The queen‑size bed’s mattress felt a bit saggy.

I stayed in a single room that was small but everything was arranged practically, especially in the bathroom. The air‑conditioner worked well during the heat. Breakfast was only available for an extra fee, which was relatively expensive. The room was in an annex, apparently with a wooden floor, and every step was audible.
