How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The place was very nice in a great location, the bar and dining room were great, and the room was just what we needed; we would definitely stay again, though the price was okay and we saw other local places with better facilities for similar money.

Great location, beautifully clean, excellent breakfast. Bathroom rather small, sink cracked, cramped toilet. Toilet also rocked and had a loose handle

The location was lovely, the room was nicely furnished and super comfy, and breakfast was good; the staff were friendly and helpful. When we got there, nobody was on site, just an envelope with our key, and the bar and lounge were shut and locked, so the only place to unwind was our room.

Just outside Hay-on-Wye, two local pubs with great food are nearby, and the breakfast at Black Mountain Lodge was excellent. Nothing else to add.
