“Gezellig authentiek maar veel te duur geprijsd”
Very friendly staff and a genuinely authentic building, yet it was more than twice as expensive as other 5‑star hotels in the area, even though it really feels like a 3‑star place.

The Hacienda de San Rafael is nestled among olive trees, midway between Seville and Jerez, offering a tranquil retreat with rustic charm and modern luxury. Individually decorated rooms feature antique furniture and global art, while 35 hectares of farmland and gardens with 3 pools provide endless exploration opportunities. Regional cuisine is served in the restaurant, with activities including bull-breeding ranch visits and golfing nearby.

It’s absolutely beautiful and peaceful, a perfect spot to rest and relax, and there was nothing negative.

Nearly everything was great, especially the garden, the level of service, and the location, but the rooms feel a bit cramped for the price and I’d rather have a separate bathroom instead of the open‑plan layout; the food was excellent, though a wider wine selection would be nice.

The Hacienda was superb, set out in the countryside away from the city, with excellent staff and equally excellent food, and there was nothing to complain about.

The place is truly special, tucked in a very quiet and peaceful area, with a lovely pool surrounded by greenery, and an incredibly friendly owner; the staff were helpful and pleasant, the on‑site masseuse was wonderful, the restaurant served very good food and breakfast could be enjoyed outdoors.
