I was blown away by what the staff have done with the old prison. The place is beautifully restored, steeped in history, and we heard about all the events, cultural pieces, and concerts they've hosted. The room had an old‑world feel, was spotless, the bed was fantastic, and the bathroom was tidy. I recommend taking a walk in the park behind the hotel; it was gorgeous with its autumn colors. We’ll definitely book another stay! The breakfast was lovely too, featuring several local specialties.
