The price was attractive but there was no quality behind it. When I arrived the room was unclean; I had booked in advance, yet it was barely cleaned – the shower had a dead cockroach, the room had a foul smell from the chicken coop right in front of the window, and the view of the hills was obscured by the coop and rubbish. The pillows were worn, water stopped at 21:00 with no notice, so you couldn’t shower after dinner. The bathroom faucet was clogged due to lack of cleaning, and the mosquito net emitted a nasty odor as soon as it opened.

The location is close to the main road, where you can find all the shops and supermarkets. The host offered chilled drinks at normal prices, and there is a nice sofa in front of the house for relaxing. The host is very helpful and the place is very affordable. Overall, the best option to stay in Nyamata.
