“Beautiful room, well appointed, exceptionally clean, most hospitable owners and staff.”

I was thrilled to find the hotel just a stone's throw from the main attractions; it’s only about two years old and looks immaculate. The owners and staff went out of their way to help, even arranging a taxi to the train station for a very reasonable price at 4 a.m. The breakfast spread was generous and tasty, though the ongoing construction makes it a bit hard to approach.

“A perfect stay!”

We adored this tiny hotel, situated right in the heart of Bukhara’s old town, next to every spot you’d want to visit. From the road it looks like just a wall and the hotel’s name, but turn right and the door appears on your left. Our room wasn’t huge, but it was adequate and beautifully decorated—big thanks to the owners! The bathroom was spacious, spotless, and fully equipped. Breakfast was abundant, whether in the small courtyard or the gorgeously decorated dining room. The real highlight was the owner, Sitora, a wonderful host who greeted us with tea and small pies after we arrived from the train station, chatted about the city, and offered top dining recommendations. She speaks excellent English as an English teacher, and while her husband doesn’t speak English, other staff members at reception are fluent, which makes this charming hotel even more appealing. We couldn’t find anything we didn’t like; among the four hotels we stayed in across Uzbekistan, this was the favorite. Thanks again, Sitora!
