“Paradise”

I booked a stay at Manami Resort in January from London to celebrate my 50th birthday in May with my family of 6. Although the booking process was a bit challenging due to unresponsiveness via email, I managed to secure our reservation . We stayed for 2 nights in a 2-bedroom Ocean View Villa and a 1-bedroom Ocean View Suite. **Booking and Communication** Initially, I tried to communicate with the resort via email, but responses were slow and unreliable. To avoid further delays, I booked , which was straightforward. **Accommodation** The units were spacious and clean, with beautiful ocean views. The Ocean View Villa was particularly lovely, offering ample space and stunning vistas. The decor was beautiful, comfortable and suitable for a family stay. **Food and Dining** We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which catered mainly to Filipino tastes. The selection was decent, but the food was quite Filipino-centric, which might be a plus for some, but less diverse for international guests. **Transportation** The resort offers a pick-up service from Bacolod to the resort for a fee of 14,000 pesos (return trip) We availed of this service, and it was convenient, making our journey smooth and hassle-free. **Staff and Service** The staff at the resort were genuinely lovely—friendly, polite, and accommodating. **Amenities** The resort boasts a private beach, swimming pool, and activities like snorkeling and kayaking. The pool was well-maintained, and the activities were enjoyable for the family. We went on a private boat tour and the staff were really lovely. **Overall Experience** Despite some hiccups in communication and service consistency, our stay was memorable thanks to the beautiful location, friendly staff, and spacious accommodations. “4 star rating could've been 5 with the welcome massage”

I had a fantastic stay, thanks to the incredible restaurant, Lingaw, which offered delicious food at an unbeatable price. Our cave tour guide, Danilo, was not only knowledgeable but also caring and attentive. Unfortunately, we missed out on our complimentary welcome massage, which was a bit of a letdown, especially since one staff member tried to make it right while another seemed unhelpful.

“We would definitely come and stay again”

The hotel's beautiful setting and lovely rooms and facilities made for a wonderful stay, but the dining experience was a bit of a challenge for us, as a couple. The portions were enormous, and we struggled to order meals that suited our needs, with no fresh fish available and large servings that would have been enough for four or five people.

I was enchanted by the resort's picturesque location in a nearly untouched coastal landscape. The hotel's integration into the bay was truly beautiful. However, I felt that the culinary offerings could be improved to better match the standards of a luxury hotel.
