The beds are comfortable, the lockers are spacious (just bring your own lock), and the garden is nice. The place is very central in San Marcos on one of the main streets, but there is some daytime noise from nearby businesses and construction. If you’re booking for April 25 or 26, be aware that loud music is played in the town centre for the celebration of the local saint until 2 am on Saturday, making it impossible to sleep even with earplugs. I moved further away after the first night, and the staff were understanding but said it isn’t their policy to inform guests about local events, so I’d recommend booking elsewhere on those dates. A few things need fixing: the water dispenser leaks, the bathroom door isn’t lockable (the lock is broken), and overall the bathroom needs better maintenance/cleaning (toilet paper ran out and there was old rubbish left on the shower floor).

Mike is extremely kind and does everything to make the experience the best it can be; he helped me organise an excursion. Some of the beds don’t have a divider cloth.

We were given a room with a closed door that was comfortable; the others were open without doors. The location was good.
