The room sits on a hill overlooking the city, and a metro stop nearby makes getting around a lot easier. Public transport in Naples is efficient and affordable, though you have to walk about 15 minutes to reach Piazza Dante. Self‑check‑in worked fine, but the building’s entrance door is a bit tricky to unlock and takes some patience. The host is friendly and easy to talk to. The room, which has a private bathroom, was clean and had solid Wi‑Fi. The bed was comfortable, though we’d have liked the pillows to be lower. A nice touch was that the shared kitchen had both a coffee machine and coffee capsules.

A small pack of biscuits or some packaged croissants with milk would have sufficed, or like others, a voucher for a first‑time breakfast at the bar.
