“I think it should be cheaper for what it is”

The spot was good for what I needed, but the walls were paper‑thin and a very drunk neighbor kept me up all night. Since it’s a country pub, I guess that’s to be expected, and the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest.

The room offered a view of cows and sheep, the country pub was lovely, and the staff were friendly, yet the walls were thin enough that I could hear the neighbors.

“Did the trick!!”

Beautiful old Pub over 100 years old, lots of character and friendly staff. We didn't eat here as we were staying for a wedding up the road, but the food we did see looked good and generous size servings. The little cabin was all we needed for one night, but they need a bit of TLC. Very basic accommodation, but comfortable enough. The steps and decking were a little worse for wear, and the inside could do with a bit of a revamp. It has everything you need but there were just a few little things that could be improved. We had tea, coffee and bottled water supplied, but no milk, we had to ask for some. The aircon/heater worked but the remote didn't. I had to plug the lamp in, and moved the bedside table to find the socket, and there was rubbish on the floor, empty food packets and dirt. If you're looking for a no fuss budget option, it's a great alternative to the more expensive places around
