The location was great and the staff were genuinely helpful.

Only the location mattered; it’s a 5‑minute walk from Walking Street. The staff were rude and gave no directions. I had booked at Pafiah Hostel and was sent to the Pafiah Bag Packers. I mentioned an early morning and loud music was playing until 1 am. When I asked the host a question, the reply was rude and then he said “I’m sleepy.” It was 9:15 pm, and after 30 minutes the host was chatting with other people, sharing details without asking. I won’t recommend this place. There are several other options nearby at the same price point. The beds were wire‑covered and there was no lock on any door.

The place was really central to town while still feeling private. There was no reception desk; you had to message someone on Instagram to check in, which confused me at first but eventually worked fine. The doors don’t lock, so no keys are provided, but that’s not a problem in a place like Pai.

The location was good, and the bed was comfy. There wasn’t much room for socialising.
