The beach is within walking distance and there are shops nearby, while the room came equipped with air‑conditioning, a TV, a kettle, a fridge and solid Wi‑Fi, and the shared kitchen lets you use a microwave and a gas stove. The shower’s water pressure was weak, the pillows were firm and traffic noise could be heard from the road.

Huge room, complete with fridge, conditioner, shower, kettle and all the basics – it felt more like a cozy guesthouse than a hotel. The kitchen is there, so you can cook your own breakfast, but you’ll have to bring your own food. The staff is minimal, but they’re friendly, unobtrusive and always ready to help. The little courtyard is green and pleasant, and there are very cute, affectionate cats to enjoy. I stayed for 19 nights and everything was great. The only downside was the pillows – they were extremely firm, almost like oak – and I ended up buying a fan to use on the balcony because it got stuffy.
