The room was clean but quite dusty. The hotel urgently needs renovation; the room was literally saturated with the smell of thousands of smoked cigarettes.

The room was warm and the beds were good, but the hotel only accepted cash, not cards, and the staff didn’t speak English; still, I managed to arrange a taxi to Sofia’s center, though there was no breakfast offered.
