“Excelente!”
The little house was very cozy, the family running it was exceptionally kind, and the breakfast was superb.

Located in the Cantabrian countryside, Posada Venero is a restored 19th-century house adjacent to Cabarceno Wildlife Park. This boutique hotel features individually decorated, heated rooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and modern bathrooms. Many rooms offer lake or mountain views, and some include balconies or terraces. A small spa with sauna and hot tub is available, along with a conservatory serving breakfast, dinner, and tapas.

The location is perfect if you’re heading to Cabarceno Park, right at the park entrance. The only downside is the breakfast: you don’t know what will be served each day—you might get ham and tortilla one day, cheesecake and chistorra the next—so a varied menu or a hotel‑style breakfast would be better.

The spot is unbeatable and the breakfasts are absolutely incredible.

Everything was very welcoming, the room was super clean and kept tidy every day. I love the mini‑fridge—especially if you’re traveling with kids or in summer! The breakfast was impressive in quantity and quality, changing every day. The staff were a perfect ten! The only small issue, which I imagine is just a facility limitation, was the shower pressure given the size of the shower.

Breakfast and the staff were great. The jacuzzi didn't work properly and the sauna was completely out of order.
