I liked it because it was clean, but the bed lights don’t work, so it’s hard to sleep well.

The rooms are cheap and close to major tech companies. I didn’t have a great stay at Olive. The first room I was given wasn’t cleaned properly; the toilet still had poop stains (!!) and I was frankly disgusted. The mini‑fridge in the room wasn’t working either, so I had to ask for a room change after just settling in with my luggage. The parking isn’t great – there’s a basement, but cars are parked outside.

By design logic, this budget hotel is a decent experience, so the online pictures can be deceiving. The staff are helpful, and the terrace is a unique selling point. The location is also convenient for getting around the area. However, many amenities are lacking: the bathroom on the 6th floor smells after a while, and during a power cut there’s no immediate backup. The AC is noisy and in poor condition. Even the room garbage wasn’t cleared until I arrived at midnight for check‑in.

They clean the room every day. The room is small and the king‑size bed makes moving around congested. Also the chemicals used on the towels are too harsh; after using them on skin and hair, it gets very, very dry.

The location and pricing are good, and the staff are courteous and efficient at fulfilling requests promptly. Still, although it’s fairly new, it hasn’t improved what it can offer as a hotel. The staff count has dropped, services have shrunk (no kitchen or restaurant in the hotel), and there’s wear and tear with chipped walls, paint, and roaches. The bathroom/toilet sometimes gives a strong foul smell due to poor ventilation, forcing you to open windows and doors for air circulation.
