“Lovely stopover”
The location and view were great, but the room was cold and the heating didn't work.

The location was great, but the decor was very dated and hasn't changed since we stayed over 10 years ago. The bartender was awful, extremely slow (especially during events) and had no bar skills. I ordered a double JD & coke, he filled the glass with coke and didn't offer ice—nothing! Overall very disappointed.

The location was superb with outstanding views and lovely walks right on the doorstep, and the room was very spacious. It was a little outdated but still very clean, cozy, and welcoming for a 3-star. However, there was no handwash at the sink in the bathroom, no basic information in the room about the hotel layout, and more staff were needed to clear the main areas at the front where people had been eating; dishes and food remnants were left for quite a while, and several tables were like that.
