“Billig, men slitt”
It was an old manor house, a barony. The furnishings were a bit worn, and there were problems getting the toilet flushed in the morning. Breakfast had little cold cuts, plenty of cakes (which we didn't eat for breakfast, but others might), so it was fine for just one night, though it was a bit far from the old town.
“Never again!”
The gardens looked nice, but we were extremely disappointed. The electric sockets were hanging off the wall, the TV didn't work, the shower and sink didn't drain and there was a constant bad smell from the drain. We stayed three nights and only had breakfast once because it was so bad. There were no free toiletries or hair dryer. The room was never cleaned, no bins were emptied, and we never saw a family—just one guy who handled breakfast and check‑in. We had been looking forward to our stay based on previous reviews.
stupenda dimora storica dove poter soggiornare e sentire, grazie alla miriade di oggetti storici che la proprietà custodisce con cura, il fascino di un tempo passato. Proprietà molto disponibile nell'accoglienza. Colazione super! giardino a dir poco favoloso!. unica pecca secondo me è il costo forse troppo alto. Parere molto personale

The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The atmosphere had a unique vibe.
The host was incredibly helpful with our paperwork, and the city of Troyes is just a short walk from this charming spot.
