The rooms felt snug and the staff were very helpful, so overall it was good value. The breakfast lacked hot options; we stayed three nights but only once had an omelet or scrambled eggs. It’s a bit far from the subway station, walking uphill is a bit of a trek, but taxis get you there easily. A small snag: no ramps, only stairs, so getting to reception with heavy luggage was tough.

The hotel staff honored their promise and moved us into the rooms we had originally booked the next day. We had booked two double rooms, but when we arrived we were told those rooms were already occupied. Instead, we were given alternative rooms, all windowless and in different buildings. We accepted them for the night on the condition that we would be transferred to our original rooms the following day. Even though the issue was resolved, we still had to spend the first night in rooms that didn’t match our booking or expectations. A confirmed reservation should guarantee the advertised accommodation from day one, without extra arrangements needed on arrival, so the check‑in experience left a bad impression.
