“Unsafe and scammy hotel—resold our booked room, tried to overcharge us, had an intoxicated caretaker, and the rooms were”

It was an absolute nightmare: they sold our booked room and tried to scam us into paying extra for a “deluxe” room. The caretaker was dead drunk, and the room condition was horrific. We couldn’t even stay and had to walk out at midnight. Worst experience ever—totally unsafe. We had booked a room in advance, but upon arrival they claimed our booked room was already sold out. To squeeze extra money out of us, they forced us to upgrade to a deluxe room. When we got there, the management was completely non-existent. The only person available was a caretaker who was heavily intoxicated and completely drunk. The room condition was absolutely atrocious—it was so bad and unhygienic that we couldn’t even stay there and had to leave in the middle of the night. Total scam and safety hazard. Absolutely terrible experience! Avoid at all costs!

The washroom was the best and the service was also safe parking.

It was good in the centre and close to the river, and the private parking deck was a plus! Some construction sounds were present, but that is temporary, I hope.
