The location is good, close to Kusatsu Yubatake. I wish the toilet had a bidet.

It’s very well situated for those who want to walk around the mountains, and the price‑quality ratio is very satisfying given that Kusatsu is a highly touristy spot. It’s a bit far on foot from the city centre (15 minutes), but in return the place is quiet, the atmosphere is warm, there’s a nice common room and a manga library!

It was fairly close to the city centre, but it was dirty and bugs bit me at night. Even as a hostel, it felt unacceptable. It was very, very expensive for the type of room.

I called ahead and the bath was ready, which was great. I’d like it to be a little cheaper.

You can stay in Kusatsu Onsen for this price! It’s a bit shabby.
