The homestay was super comfortable and the host was really friendly. The view of Cao Bang city from the homestay was stunning. The only issue was the road leading to the homestay was dark at night, but it didn't bother me too much. The homestay itself was close to the city center, making it easy to get around.

The bed was really comfy, but that's where the positives end. The bathroom had no hot water, and the staff were completely unhelpful. The place was also really run down and in need of some serious TLC.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that this place was a hidden gem, offering a serene atmosphere and breathtaking views of the town. It was a great value for the price, and we ended up extending our stay by a few nights. However, it's worth noting that it's a bit further out of town, but we managed to get around easily by hiring a moped for a reasonable price.

The pool was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, and it was lovely to have a quiet spot to cool off. However, the doors didn't seem to seal properly, and we could hear the music from a nearby bar drifting in.

I loved the design of the resort, and the rooms were of great quality. However, the check-in process was a bit of a mess. The host didn't give us clear directions to the resort, and the entrance was really hard to find in the dark. The staff tried to help us with GPS, but it turned out that the issue was with the entrance being easy to miss. We also had some issues with the bathroom and air conditioning in our room.
