Everything met my expectations: clean rooms, helpful staff, and an amazing location. I could visit Taksim Square, Galata Tower, and Eminönü without trouble. Istanbul, you’re wonderful. Thanks Papirus Hotel Family.

The bedbugs and the bar across the street with a DJ were a problem. The music from the bar kept going until 6 am, which was annoying.

The place is well‑situated, the room was spotless and the staff were friendly. All was comfortable, giving us a pleasant stay.

There were bedbugs. It was the worst hotel experience of my life; we arrived and had to wait because we didn't know we had a reservation, already paid. They made us wait because they didn't understand English, Spanish, or even Turkish with the translator, so a friend had to come to communicate with us. They said they had lost the booking account and didn't know we were coming. After sleeping there the first night, my partner had several bites during the day; being allergic to nuts, we checked both options and indeed found bedbugs. We left, spending the whole night at the airport, a night we had already paid for at this hotel. We didn't tell the owner anything, because every time we tried to contact him it was impossible as he didn't understand us.
