“Comfortable a bit too expensive for what is offered”
This was our second stay at the hotel. It’s very comfortable, the ladies running it are very nice, the beds are very comfortable, rooms are cosy, the bathroom is great but there was no shampoo or conditioner, at least not one I could find. We found the dinner a bit overwhelming; it’s a set menu and honestly it’s a few too many courses, and we feel that if they concentrated on producing fewer courses the quality might be slightly improved. The chef is clearly very creative… but not every creation quite works! Overall this hotel is a bit too expensive for what it is and for where it is. Finally, the coffee machine in our bedroom was very hard to operate and very old‑fashioned. Perhaps an update?
