The view of Patong was nice, and I liked sitting outside at night to relax; renting a scooter is affordable and the shower head is the best I’ve had, but the main road to Queeren is rough and the last 200 m to the hotel are steep—walking was doable, but as a smoker it was heavy.
The hotel offers great value, friendly staff, daily cleaning, and a cozy feel; it sits on a hill, which didn’t bother us even without a bike, providing good exercise; it’s convenient that a bike can be taken from the hotel, the walk to Patong beach is about 20 minutes, and that spot is one of the cleanest on the beach.
The room was clean, but the pool was closed during my stay; I wish I’d known beforehand so I could have booked elsewhere, and I’m upset by the misinformation.
