The location was great, but there were hairs on the shower wall that weren’t ours.

The place was absolutely awesome, with great people and vibe; the robes in the room were lovely, the beds plush, and every single item felt high quality. I stayed with my service dog and they offered a pet package that included a dog bed, bowls, and cute welcome notes with information on dog parks nearby. I loved the place through and through, though I wish the hotel would provide a small bottle of lotion in rooms as a small request.

We stayed during Oshkosh, the busiest time of the year, and the hotel in downtown Appleton is a very popular choice for GA pilots who want to avoid the busy Wittman Field airspace during the show. The rooms were comfortable and rates reasonable, and it was walking distance from many restaurants and cafes in downtown. The staff was nice and accommodating, so overall it was good value for the money. However, there was no breakfast room; the hotel offered a breakfast box for $7, and there was a restaurant and bar on site that could have been used for breakfast, but it would have been nice to have a decent breakfast option.

The property’s location and furnishings are good quality, but the toilet seat was broken, the toilet was very dirty, and this was the second time I paid double for parking. The front desk told me parking was $6, yet after staying last week and paying $12, I confirmed before this stay that it was supposed to be $6, which they verified. Despite that, I was charged $12 again.
