The place was spacious and the breakfast spread—yogurt, fruit, toast, jam, juice—was a nice touch. I appreciated the coffee pod machine for a proper morning brew, and the hosts were friendly and guided us around. The rooms stayed warm thanks to the heaters. On the downside, only black tea was available, and I had to bring my own herbal blend. The TV remote was a puzzle; an instruction sheet would have helped.

The unit was tidy and did the job well. However, it faces a shared garden, so you don't get much seclusion. If you don't mind a bit of background noise, it works fine.

“A refreshing alternative to Motel accommodation, peaceful and fantastic hospitality”

Joan, Trevor, and Tom were great hosts, and the one‑bedroom apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything you need for a self‑catering stay. The continental breakfast was a treat, and we enjoyed a lovely walk in the garden before we left. Tom’s friendly send‑off made it extra special.

“The self contained accomodation was adequate would not meet my expectation of "Luxury."”

The spot was convenient for our needs and the breakfast was decent. The website’s “luxury” claim felt a bit over‑hyped, especially since the gardens look a bit worn and the property seems tired. The accommodation was comfortable, the kitchen had new appliances and was well stocked, but the heating was slow to kick in on a cold day. The gallery photos were outdated, and the award mentioned was from 2018—so the marketing might be a touch inflated.
