The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, but the noise went on until 1 am.

Dear Ibis team, having spent many years in hospitality, especially in hotel learning and development, I’d like to offer some constructive feedback. A warm smile and a genuine welcome really set the tone for a guest’s first impression. We arrived around noon and were told that check‑in would open at 3 pm, which was completely understandable. When we asked where we could leave our luggage, we were directed to a storage room, but no assistance was provided. I know that a budget hotel may not have a bell team, yet when a guest is visibly struggling with their bags and two or three staff members are nearby, a simple “May I help you?” can make a real difference. Could noticing these moments and offering support become a more natural part of the team’s approach? After leaving our bags, I asked if we would receive a luggage ticket and was told that no tickets were issued. Our bags were placed alongside other guests’ belongings, with no one checking which bags belonged to whom or where we had put them. This left me wondering how the hotel ensures that luggage is collected only by its owner. A clearer process would help guests feel more reassured. In the room, there was also a dead insect left on the wall. I understand that details can occasionally slip through, but a final check before releasing the room could prevent this. I’m sharing these observations because I believe small details have a meaningful impact on the guest experience. To me, hospitality is about making people feel noticed, welcomed, and cared for. Even when facilities or services are limited, kindness, attentiveness, and a willingness to help can leave a lasting impression. I hope this feedback encourages the team to reflect on a simple question: “What could I do in this moment to make this guest feel genuinely cared for?” Sometimes, all it takes is a smile, a kind word, or a small offer of help.

The location was good, but the rooms were small.
