The food was good, but the quality of the amenities—especially the shampoo and conditioner—was a bit lacking.

The place was clean and the staff greeted me with smiles, even helping move my luggage, which was a big help. The welcome drink was great, and at night I could freely enjoy a variety of drinks while looking out at the view—an absolute highlight.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel took photos for my parents’ anniversary family trip, offering a commemorative card with careful detail. The first and third floors have a lounge where you can pick up drinks on your own, and you can mix your own cocktails if you like; the hotel’s homemade lemon liqueur is refreshing and worth trying. The room is spacious, the bathroom sink area is large and pleasant to use. The meals use many Awaji Island specialties, and the seafood is top quality and delicious. Overall, it’s perfect for travelers wanting a Japanese experience, and the hotel’s surroundings include a convenient beach promenade for a relaxing stroll with sea views.

The location was excellent and the service was good. The only minor gripe is that I wish the room had a bathtub; one guest couldn’t use the hot spring for a reason.

The location was great, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious, but the tatami felt worn and the cushions in the Japanese‑style room were awkward to use.
