“Hot Tuna is the hot ticket. Great stay!”
I absolutely loved staying here. I booked last minute after another place cancelled, and I’m so glad I did. I chose a room with a fan that happened to be nearest the road. There was noise, but I didn’t mind it, even the Tuesday night party at Lazies. I used earplugs sometimes, but I actually enjoyed the background hum, including the trains passing a few times a day – you hear them anywhere near the main road. I planned for 3 nights, stayed 6, and came back for 5 more a week later. Midigama is small and magical, yet it’s great to be able to walk straight onto the beach from your accommodation. I also liked the outdoor shower. The room was spacious and well‑furnished – shelves, a desk, a couple of chairs, and a drying rack. Power was reliable and the Wi‑Fi worked well. The balconies were large, nice, and private. It felt like excellent value. The bathroom only had cold water, but since I needed four cold showers a day because of the heat, that was perfect. Overall, a great spot run by a friendly family who’re there if you need help but otherwise let you be. The room wasn’t cleaned during either stay, but that didn’t bother me too much – you could probably ask for it. The balconies were cleaned daily.

Everything. Mainly the location, the bed, the whole room was very comfortable, and it’s right across the road from a lovely beach. The shower was a tiny bit drippy, but otherwise the room was perfect.
