Big rooms, awesome round beds
— how guests describe the rooms
1 double bed
I was disappointed with the stay; even at a lower rate the quality was worse. We had to switch rooms because the bathroom curtains were broken and the AC wasn’t working. The staff seemed unhappy when we requested a change. In the second room the AC still malfunctioned, taking an entire day to cool the space. Privacy was lacking, and there was a lot of lizard droppings everywhere.
These cottages are really cool - big rooms, awesome round beds, and they look just like the pictures, even if they are a bit worn out. The location's great, close to the beach and not far from shops and eats, although you do have to hike up a bit of a hill. Check-out was 12, but they let us stay a bit longer, which was nice. That said, finding the path to the cottages was a bit tricky at first, and some people use it for, ahem, other purposes.
“Rapporto qualità prezzo esagerato per essere in India”
This place might have been prettier years ago, now it feels a bit run down. The area's not great either, it's close to the chaos of Varkala and feels pretty dirty and neglected.
The resort’s location and construction were good, and the rooms were decent. However, maintenance issues persisted, and the curtains on the bed spread were poorly kept.
I'm back here after six years and it's great to see the bungalow has been renovated - the AC makes all the difference. The round bed's still a highlight. One downside is that the staff doesn't speak great English, which can be a bit of a challenge.
