The monastery had been freshly restored and radiates a modern, spacious, stylish vibe. The food is good, and the breakfast is five-star. Even though we don’t care about a TV, it’s the first time we’ve stayed at a hotel without one, and the Bible in the room was too little for us.

It’s a completely different way to spend a holiday, but there’s nothing comparable for “unwinding.” The peace, contemplation, and beautiful setting are unmatched. The prices in the refectory were a bit too high for my taste.

The rooms are gorgeous and the service is great! Everything was perfect, I absolutely recommend booking, and we’ll definitely return! THANK YOU! It was hard to understand why an exquisite, top-tier Italian coffee machine from the brand “FEMA” – the Mercedes of espresso machines – sat unused behind the counter. Even though it was switched on throughout breakfast, our request for coffee was consistently denied with a firm NO. Only filter coffee or coffee from an automatic machine was offered. It was unbelievable and utterly incomprehensible. Very, very sad!
