I stayed in the old Torre of the Palazzos and the location was truly special; the parking lot opposite the house was very tight, so it helped that the landlord was helpful with parking the rental car—ideally bring small suitcases or bags. The stairs were a bit of a climb, but our room facing the main Piazza Ravello already offered a fantastic view over the piazza all the way to the sea. The roof terrace with three small tables was even better, giving a near 360‑degree view—an excellent choice for a reasonable price in Ravello! You could sit there anytime, and if you can juggle the tray up, you can even have breakfast there. Breakfast was set up in the kitchen, and you serve yourself with everything in the tower’s kitchen. Umbrellas were available above. The location was top, everything was within walking distance, and restaurants were everywhere. We dined at Ristorante Vittoria, good value and very friendly staff despite the tourist crowds. The second night we went to Salvatore in the pizza/pasta area, a bit cheaper, separate “below” with a view of the coastal road and sea. Must‑see: Villa Rufolo on the tower, Villa Cimbrone best in late afternoon/evening to avoid back‑lighting on the terrace; in the garden below the infinity terrace there’s a small café in the park to relax with good drinks. The cathedral is also interesting, with a small exhibition in the cellar below. Gorgeous mosaics and marble columns, bronze doors! If you book in advance by email you can visit the Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium. In the evenings, without tourists, it’s absolutely quiet. In the mornings the square is cleaned, deliveries arrive, and the first day visitors come. There’s a large parking lot for day‑tourists within reach—it's more expensive than the one belonging to the house, so reserve if you’re driving. The bathroom is small but everything else in the room is very clean. Air‑conditioning is top and there’s a small fridge in the room. We would stay here again! Great charm and location! Say buongiorno to the two parrots of the landlord ;) The shower was very narrow and almost impossible to close, but we managed— the location and view made up for it.
