The location was in the city center on the boulevard, but the breakfast was dramatic; fortunately there were plenty of alternatives nearby.

Located in Cologne's historic Old Town, Hotel Kunibert der Fiese offers stunning views of the Rhine promenade and is within walking distance to the Cologne Cathedral and main railway station. This 3-star hotel, situated on a 13th-century tavern site, features bright rooms with modern amenities, free Wi-Fi, and some rooms overlooking the city centre and Rhine bridges.

I recommend this hotel for its value for money; it’s very well situated in the city of Cologne. I recommend it.

The location is low.

The only thing that mattered was the view. The curtains wouldn’t close, the rooms were still smelling of smoke, the beds felt old, and the bathroom and toilet weren’t clean.

A very warm welcome from staff at check‑in. We skipped breakfast because we had sightseeing plans, but we noted the restaurant area was busy. The location was excellent for exploring the city, a 12‑minute walk to the train station. The view from our third‑floor room was outstanding, and the elevator was appreciated. We would highly recommend this property.
