“Suprise Charges & False Damage Claims”
I liked when bookings.com found out that the video taken on check-out and the pictures of the "damage" were found to be woefully inconsistent, so much so that bookings.com refunded the overcharged damage deposit themselves and invoiced the host :). The energy changed dramatically once the 4k, time-stamped entry and exit videos came up. The general facts; 1. The minibar is "complimentary with a review". Except it isn't, she will tell you after your stay that it is only "taken into account when finalizing any small charges. Be very careful what you say. 2. Natalie will message you the day of check-out and again a few days after that thanking you for leaving everything so lovely and how she would love to host you again anytime. 8-9 days later, she will tell you that you caused over $595 worth of damages and she's keeping all your money. Despite the damage deposit only being $400, but we will get to that. 2.2. She will very kindly not chase you for the remaining amount "owing", she's happy to just keep the money she already has. 3. Natalie will bait and switch the damage deposit amount. $350.00 on bookings platform. $400.00 via text. Don't forget the cheeky "PayID" requests to go a little further off the platform. 4. She owns and or manages this room from what I can tell, which goes by Medusas Luxe Retreat & Versace Themed Hotel Room Prime Location, and likely the Chanel Themed cousin. So, steer very clear. 5. After repeated requested (I do mean days and days of requests) from bookings.com for "proof". Nothing was sent to them, that's where they found out that I took a video of the entry into the room as well as the exit. 6. They reviewed my video and entered mine and Natalie's chat on the bookings.com to retrieve the photos that she refused to submit directly to the platform and what do you know. They don't match. 7. Bookings.com has since refunded me the damage deposit and from what I understand, they will be invoicing little miss. 8. Will "kindly" arrange early check-in for $25 per hour, regular check-in is at 2pm, early check-in is at 12pm
