The beach is right across the street, the pillows are super fluffy, breakfast is included, and the hotel restaurant offers dinner platters if you book in the afternoon; the portions are large and there are vegetarian options. There’s a very good curry restaurant next door. A mask, snorkel, and fins are available if you want to explore the surroundings. The beds were not very stable, the food was decent but quite greasy.

Every staff member greeted me with a warm hello, which put me in a great mood both at check‑in and in the morning, and having a washing machine on site meant I never ran out of clean clothes, while the foot‑washing faucet was a handy touch; the rooftop view of the night sky gave me an unforgettable memory. The breakfast could have been better—adding a salad, mozuku, sea grapes or other Okinawan touches would have been nice, and the brownish hue of some dishes was a minor let‑down.

The gentleman at the front desk was lively and genuinely pleasant, and the miso soup that came with the set meal was delicious; we could relax on the reclining chairs up on the roof and watch the sky full of stars, and although dinner cost extra, you could order a set for between 1,000 and 2,000 yen. The only drawback was that the signs pointing to the parking lot were a bit confusing, and I wish the dinner menu offered an à‑la‑carte selection for snacks.
