The staff were among the friendliest I’ve ever met in Japan, always helpful and bringing fresh fruit and drinks daily. The lodging was gorgeous and in the best spot in Kurashiki’s old town. It was the best ryokan I’ve ever stayed at.

A remarkable find in Kurishiki, with beautiful rooms, tatami, and all the amenities. The lovely breakfast was a nice touch. The beds were very firm, yet we still enjoyed our stay.
