The breakfast and staff were very friendly, but the front‑desk staff left a very unpleasant impression. After a long trip we were exhausted and wanted to settle in quickly, yet the language barrier made check‑in more complicated and took longer than expected. One employee tried to help and resolve the issues, but another staff member’s behavior seemed rude, and at times even seemed to insult us. We don’t understand why this happened, but we felt uneasy and didn’t receive the understanding and help we expected. We realise not all guests speak the local language, yet front‑desk staff should communicate respectfully, patiently, and find ways to bridge the gap. If explaining is hard, a phone translator, gestures or another employee’s help could be used. Because of this experience we felt unsafe and hesitant even to ask where to go or how to find our room. We wanted a calm stay, but instead we endured stress and unpleasant emotions. We believe front‑desk professionalism, respect, and a sincere desire to help every guest regardless of language are essential; unfortunately that was missing. NO BATHROOMS WERE AVAILABLE 🤔
