How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
We wanted to soak up Windermere’s countryside charm, and Broadlands delivered. Walking distance to restaurants, roomy enough for two with a decent amount of luggage, and the bathroom was clean though a touch small. The only issue was the lack of hooks for wet towels.

The room was amazing, with a comfy bed, stylish décor, and a porridge bar plus a breakfast bar that came with tea and coffee. The location was great for exploring the town and a pleasant walk down to Bowness. We stayed in August when it was warm, and the room had a fan and a heater for colder days. The communication was excellent: our room was ready early, and we got an email telling us where to pick up the keys. Parking was easy in the Pay and Display across the road. Nothing else to note.

Host Dawn and Steph were friendly and easy to chat with. The quirky clean room was flawless. They added a porridge and cereal bar for breakfast, which wasn’t part of the package. It’s close to all shops, restaurants, and just a 10‑minute walk to the station. I’ll stay again and recommend it to everyone.

The staff were lovely, housekeeping was exceptional, and the location was very handy. The only downside was the drizzly weather.
