“Zu teuer und leider extrem lautes Hotel”

The staff were friendly, but our suite had several problems that shouldn’t exist at this price point: scratched floors, wobbly wall hooks, and visible bed damage. On top of that, there was insane noise from a disco in the same building—sleep was only possible after 2 am, and our complaint at reception was apparently ignored. I was especially frustrated because there was no phone in the suite, and calling the hotel’s published number from my phone didn’t work at all.

“Haben uns auf Aufenthalt im schönen Ambiente gefreut wurden aber sehr enttäuscht !!!”

We loved the location and overall vibe, which made us return often. However, when we extended our stay, the card stopped working at night and the emergency number only rang the answering machine, forcing us to find a new place at 23.30 because no one was reachable—unbelievable. The management never apologized, nor were they present at check‑out, which was disappointing. Service could be much better. Thankfully we had all essential medication with us, otherwise the night could have been critical. We’ve never experienced anything like this, and it should never happen again.

“Wenn immer wir nach Gießen oder in die Nähe kommen, ist es das Hotel unserer Wahl.”

The spot is great, the room is superb, the breakfast is excellent, and the wellness area is fantastic, plus the sun terrace is wonderful.
