Breakfast wasn’t offered, the house felt like a family home with very limited kitchen access, so we didn’t use it; it was miles from any large town or tourist spots, making the whole place feel too isolated.

The location was good, a quiet and peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle, but my partner and I, who travel a lot in England and abroad, have never encountered a situation where we had to pay an extra £20 for a late check‑in; clearer information should be provided before payment. The shared bathroom was only mentioned in the full description, not on the front site, and the “Morden Shared Spaces” description promised a fully equipped kitchen and open‑planned living area, yet when I went to the kitchen in the morning to make coffee, I was told it wasn’t for use and only a kettle and cups were in the room.

The house was beautiful and decorated to a very high standard throughout; Chris was a lovely and friendly host. The location offered easy access to Newquay and Aberaeron, and the on‑site parking, garden, big table, and seats were great. A nice pub about a mile away served good food, a chippy, and a convenience store. The only downside was having just one shared bathroom; this wasn’t an issue for us as the only couple, but if the other two rooms were occupied it could become problematic—an extra toilet would be helpful.
