“This was a disappointing weekend stay at a hotel brand that I usually love.”

Check‑in was smooth and the person who greeted us was kind and pleasant, making us feel welcome after a very long drive; the room was spacious. I stayed for a soccer tournament with my two sons. The first night we left snacks on the desk, and the next morning ants were everywhere on it; we had to move all food into the small fridge and shift our drinks out of it. Mold was visible on the hallway ceiling. On the second morning we had to turn off the air conditioner because condensation was dripping from the ceiling onto the carpet in our room. On the last morning there were no hot items for breakfast before our game and very few options besides waffles, plus a huge line because that was the only choice. We usually really like the Marriott brand, so this stay was disappointing.
