Seoul Hotel ShinShin Myeongdong

The location is excellent, the facilities are great, and the room is very large and clean. At -1 there’s also a coffee machine. The limousine bus drops you right in front, and there are plenty of transport options just a few steps away. Not recommended. The issue wasn’t really the hotel’s fault; we were staying with our 18‑month‑old daughter who cried around 22:30 for about 10 minutes during a shower. The next day the hotel received a complaint that they forwarded to us. Besides the fact that a child doesn’t usually cry on command (luckily our daughter isn’t very whiny), it seemed exaggerated. The hotel did apologise, but it still made me frown a little.

“Bon établissement”

The layout is functional, the Japanese toilet is separate from the bathroom. The bedding is comfortable, and the room is clean. It’s a 5‑minute walk to the lively heart of Myeong‑dong via an underground tunnel. There’s no coffee or tea provided even though there’s a kettle and cups. No small touches, which is disappointing for a place of this standing.

Taiwan’s plug type is a pity to not know beforehand, as it means buying foreign adapters.

“Eu recomendo este hotel, é muito limpo e a localização é maravilhosa.”

A localização é muito boa. Fiz quase tudo a pé. Tem tudo perto, cafés, restaurantes e varias atrações. Os quartos são bons e muito limpo. O hotel não oferece café da manhã, mas tem muitos cafés próximos

Hotel is clean, well appointed. Easy to get to places (eating, subway, markets etc) from here. Staff are helpful. Maps are available. It is comfortable with separate shower and toilet. There was a large wardrobe space. A few more hangers would have been useful. No Laundry facilities and nearest launderette was quite a distance away
