2 twin beds
The view from the window was good, breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly, but I didn’t like the mice, flies, and the smell of the mouse trap.
We were a group of four staying almost alone in a historic manor house; the friendly housekeeper invited us to go “ghost hunting” at night, which the kids enjoyed a lot. The omelette breakfast was good. If you want to stay in a quirky, eccentric house, this is the place. The room was in an unrenovated corridor, the exterior window couldn’t be opened, it was damp and the bedding was probably hidden. I wouldn’t spend a second night here because of the air.
“Labai įdomi patirtis apsistoti čia žiemą. Naktį vėsu, bet darbuotojai pasirūpino, kad nesušaltume :)”
We arrived in winter, everything was very calm, and we stayed alone on the estate. The experience was very interesting and the staff were especially helpful. It was quite cold at night during winter, we wore jackets and slept with two blankets, but we didn’t freeze because the staff offered heaters and throws.
“Autentiška vieta, norintiems praleisti naktį su vaiduokliais”
The large estate was very peaceful by the lake, the rooms were big—though advertised as 6 m² they were actually spacious. We didn’t expect luxury, and that’s fine; we could choose the rooms we wanted to stay in. The linens were clean, towels came free of charge, and we could brew coffee or tea. We had access to the whole estate, two grocery shops were nearby, and the estate restaurant was an option. The nearby sunflower farm offered photo opportunities, and if you believe in ghosts, you might actually meet some. At night I woke up with the smart bracelet still on, the screen kept glowing until sunrise, as if something else was still in the room with us—quite unsettling, though now I remember it with a laugh and a little snore.
Honesty, warmth, and excellent food were the highlights.
