The family room was spacious and the beds were super comfortable and clean. There are no cafés or shops nearby, but Chilaw town is only a 15‑minute drive from the hotel.

The staff and quality of service, the food, and the location are all great.

The personal staff, Mr. Roshana, did a very good job. The Sunset Room is expensive but the windows are very dirty, and the balcony and its furniture are full of bird droppings.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, repeatedly assisting us, offering advice and smiling at last‑minute requests; Roshana in particular looked after us, making our stay wonderful – thank you very much. Our room was huge, giving plenty of space for four people, the restaurant served very tasty meals, and the sunset seen from the hotel was stunning, so don’t miss it, although a bit of limescale was on the window glass.
