“Memorable and Pleasant”
We were treated to a sea‑facing room that framed the view right outside our door, reminding us of the start and end of our trip. The rooms matched the booking photos—clean and quite spacious. The staff were very helpful, so we never felt alone. The cook on the property served an amazing breakfast, but we only received that service once during our two‑day stay; all other meals had to be ordered outside.
“Short stay at Foreshore Road”
1. Location 2. View from the room 3. All amenities are present in the room 4. Staff was strict initially but later courteous. 1. No sign outside or at the entrance mentioning ‘Kokari Guesthouse’ 2. The number mentioned in the is of the owner who usually doesn’t stay in the property. 3. The reception staff didn’t accept my driving licence as ID. He had pressed me to provide Aadhar only whereas in all other areas in Andaman Islands driving licence worked just fine as ID. Why the different rules for Foreshore road hotels I didn’t understand. 4. No card reader/POS machine was available for payment. 5. Little bit old construction
It was nice to stay on vacation, but there was no lift.
“Good”
Everyone was nice and helpful, delivering everything we asked for with a smile. The room faced the sea, and the adjacent common balcony was great for breakfasts and evening snacks. The bathroom was clean and spacious. However, the room décor could have been better: many wardrobes contained pre‑used items, and an extra wardrobe not shown in the pictures was impossible to open. A building next to the room made the windows less useful.
“If you r up for scenic views and if you r first time traveler here in port Blair you can choose it to feel andamanian vi”
The views were scenic, but parking was unavailable. Initially the location felt a bit odd, yet once inside the room the scenery was enjoyable. All guests share one common seating area at the front; there isn’t a private balcony for each room. Otherwise, breakfast was amazing.
