Check‑in was quick and easy, the beds slept well, the street was quiet despite the noisy rooms, and it was close to the station, but the room smelled a bit musty, the shower was tiny and you couldn’t turn around in it, the walls were old with paint peeling and floor covering had stains, and the bright light made it feel flat and lacking atmosphere.

The room was quiet with an inner courtyard view, the courtyard was a bit noisy but nothing else, the location was perfect near Gare du Nord and the metro network, the reception was very friendly and there were nice surprises in the room, but the breakfast could use improvement—no baguettes on arrival, only five bananas for 20 people, and the kiwis were unripe, though overall it was still acceptable.
