The spot was great—perfectly positioned, and the breakfast view was lovely. The breakfast itself was impressive, offering a nice variety that surpassed my expectations. I stayed in the family room with an ensuite; it felt a bit cramped with my snow gear, but the beds were clean and comfortable. Overall, the Thredbo experience justified the price.

The building’s height gives a decent view if you’re on the right side, and the shuttle stop is less than 100 m away, so getting to the base and parking is a breeze. Breakfast was solid with fresh fruit, the kitchen was well stocked, and the dining room felt cozy. But the bathrooms were a nightmare – only one men’s cubicle upstairs, a mixed‑gender stall that ran out of toilet paper after 8 pm, and uneven shower availability.

Breakfast was super complete, the bathrooms were always clean, and the place was comfortable. The location was spot‑on, close to the town centre and the ski area, so everything was convenient.

I was pleasantly surprised by a complimentary breakfast that included tea, coffee and Milo. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the little events they organized for everyone.
