1 double bed
“Ottima.posizione”
I stayed in the Portofino room, which is elegant and very pretty, but the shower had too many functions—radio, hydro massage, etc.—and overall it needed maintenance; a simple classic shower with a normal spray would have been better.
The bed was comfortable, the apartment was spacious, and the terrace was fantastic, but the bathroom was a bit small considering the size of the rest of the place.
“Central location perfect for a Genoa base”
The place sits in the heart of the busy shopping street of XX Septembre, making it ideal for exploring Genova; it’s only 10 minutes from Brignole station and easy to locate. Getting into the apartment was a bit tricky because you have to use a web link, but once inside it’s huge with two bathrooms, so it’s spacious and comfortable. We didn’t use the communal area, which was also large and had extra coffee facilities. Their web‑chat communication was brilliant and prompt, so that aspect was perfect. The downside is that it’s on a very busy main street, so if you keep your windows open you’ll hear noise; our apartment was next to an office, so the noise carried through during working hours. Still, I wouldn’t let that stop me from staying again.
Everything was good.
“Ok for a short stay”
The location was good and transport was easy, but the entry system through a website didn’t work, so the host had to open the front door remotely; it felt odd to go through the company’s offices to reach the room. There were quite a few stairs to the Garibaldi room, and the entrance was cramped, making it unsuitable for anyone with a disability or who needs to carry luggage upstairs. The room itself was okay—tiny but had everything you need, and it was clean and tidy.
